Imaginarium

An oral storytelling journey around the world.

Imaginarium is an exciting new format for dialogue that I have embarked on (2022) with my co-creator, award-winning Indigenous broadcaster and curator Jarrett Martineau (Host of Reclaimed on CBC). We invoke a long continuum of storytelling to weave present and past into intimate interviews with some of the world’s most noted writers and thinkers. With both of us interviewing guests simultaneously, we present a format marked by empathic probing and active listening. Imaginarium will find a home in podcast as well as live event format at festivals and ideas forums around the world.

Imaginarium: Parables for a Planet in Crisis

Our inaugural episode, ‘Parables for a Planet in Crisis’ will be a live event with the globally-renowned writers and thinkers Naomi Klein, Amitav Ghosh, Robyn Maynard, and Leanne Betasamosake Simpson. These compelling voices will discuss the personal and political forces that shape our lives and the world around us, from the global supply chain to enduring legacies of colonialism. They reveal faultlines and point us to ways of knowing and world-making in the face of a changing climate and ecological crisis, to imagine different paths forward. More
